Actually, for proper Pig Latin, it should be “Ixnay on the eefray”
Pig Latin has… um… regional variations! Yeah. That’s it!
The English to Pig Latin Translator says it should be ‘ixnay onway ethay eefray’ but I think articles and conjugations are commonly ignored. Therefore you are right.

What Dirk is overlooking (shame on him) is that Clodin is their leader. Dirk doesn’t have the right to make that decision in the first place.
